City Wild in demand, SOLD OUT screening

by paul on January 26, 2014

City Wild SOLD OUT at its first Irish screening.

Sold Out Screen at the IFI Dublin.

Well, what can we say? A big thank you to the Irish Film Institute and to Sunniva O’Flynn for programming City Wild as part of Ireland on Sunday. A big thank you to all the people who packed out the screening and to all of those who stayed behind for the Q&A.

Sold out Croud

Over the last week we have received quite a few e-mails and calls from people who didn’t get tickets in time or got turned away on the  day of the screening, all wanting to know when it will be screened again. Right now, we don’t have any confirmed dates for Irish screenings but the best way to keep up to date on future news is buy signing up to the mailing list, above in the top right hand corner of your screen. Fill in your name and e-mail address, and, as soon as we have confirmed dates for screenings, we will send you an email with plenty of warning, so you can book tickets well in advance.

Also, why not like the film’s Facebook page as well? https://www.facebook.com/citywildthemovie, just to make sure you don’t miss any news.

Thanks so much for all the support, we really appreciate it.

A Bit of Noise

by leticia on January 13, 2014

Article in The Herald this morning

The City Wild contributors and their Dublin premiere next Sunday are picking up a bit of attention in the media this week in Dublin. There was this lovely feature in the Herald and it was also a news segment in 98FM radio in the morning.

We’re very pleased, as this is such a long labour of love, that it’s getting a bit of publicity. Now for plentiful and receptive audiences on Sunday!

City Wild takes off

October 3, 2013

To Washington DC! It’s been selected to screen at the Capital Irish Film festival in early December. We’re delighted with the news, also because Forty Foot screened here a couple of years ago too. We’re nicely accompanied by some other great Irish films: check out the initial list of films

One more panorama please!

August 2, 2012

Over the last year and a half that we have filming on and off, we have been aiming at getting the biggest panoramic view of the whole park for no budget, which means we have tried it with GoPro cameras from a kite swinging in the wind, a remote control airplane thanks to the Leinster […]

Reshoots

July 13, 2012

On the final stretch of the road before picture lock, we’re doing pick ups during these two weeks. These are some of the stills of busy park life on a sunny day. Great that the park and amenities within it are getting so many visitors, but there needs to be a balance between usage and […]
